This is an instructable on how to make your own mold for chocolate.
I happened to have the idea of making a Han Solo in carbonite chocolate bar as well as a life mask of my mom! The life mask was my mom’s birthday/mother’s day present, Han Solo will be my brothers b-day present.


So what I used was food grade silicone. It’s platinum cured versus tin. There are many brands who have different names for it.

There are different grades, cures, durometers ( how flexible it is)

So you must double check what you want to work with.

The specific product I used was Smooth on Sil 940, sampler size.
