Scott of What I Made is back with another really fun project and beautifully illustrated instructions with this Fimo clay shark container. Amazingly, it’s his first time working with Fimo. Impressive!
My original idea was to create a toast rack where the shark looks like it is eating the toast. That didn’t really work out (I couldn’t make it big enough) however it works really well with cheese straws, bread sticks and even pencils. Oh… and for a bit of gory fun I also made a half-eaten Fimo fish to hook on to its teeth.
I love when gory humor and crafting meet up. It’s a win-win.

Don’t let your eyes fool you. What you are looking at is a giant s’more birthday cake from Stacy of The Birthday Blog. She made giant, home-baked graham cracker, a massive slab of chocolate and topped it with a frosted single-layer cake and another graham cracker. So, so awesome.

Instructables user technoplastique writes:
This bracelet is designed to showcase a special piece of wood veneer. In my case I had a small piece of olive ash that had a really beautiful grain pattern. It was suitable for framing, so I framed it into a bracelet. The LEDs behind the veneer add a warm glow that really shows off the personality of the veneer.
The bracelet has a wood base (plywood, specifically), a veneered outside, a channel for an LED circuit and diffusing resin, and a leather lining/battery cover.

I admit I’ve never seen a single episode of Jersey Shore, but this hilarious Snooki pumpkin from Alexa on BlogHer almost makes me want to watch.
I do know that people are totally obsessed with Snooki and her funny ways and I wanted to celebrate her pop culture icon through craft. A while back I was thinking about her guidette hair and I had a funny thought that it looked like a mini pumpkin sitting on top of her head. So, with that random thought came the idea to do this pumpkin.

Check out these vintage-inspired Halloween pillows from My Paper Crane’s Heidi Kenney. Taking some old images, she enlarged them in Photoshop and had them printed on fabric, and turned them into pillows. Love it.
